I had never been in 5-star hotel until we spent an exquisite weekend at the Langham Huntington. It is located in Pasadena, and this luxury resort has a beautiful lake, gardens, and walking trails.

The Huntington is truly an inspired choice for your vacation or business trip to Pasadena or Los Angeles.

You will be very impressed with the Langham Huntington and their attention to detail. In the Premium suite, the furniture and bedding are comfortable and refined.  

No matter where you stand in the room, there is a gorgeous view of the property through enormous windows. The Langham Hotel and Resort delivers first-class hotel and hospitality services that make a lasting impression.

The bathroom is exceptional; it has marble flooring, marble sinks, a deep soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower. The plush and over-sized bath towels are the ultimate in comfort… so thick and thirsty, you will feel pampered every time you use them.

You can pack and be worry-free because The Langham anticipates your every need before you arrive. The fresh pink rose in the crystal vase is a lovely touch.

The room was stocked with linen stationery and custom writing instruments that will make you want to write to all your family and friends and tell them about this fantastic resort.

The area is residential, so you will be able to walk the neighborhood — I recommend the early part of the day or after dinner. The residents are friendly and the area is quiet and calm, which makes it such a delightful experience.

There are 23 acres of beautiful gardens all around The Langham Huntington, Pasadena. In this opulent resort, visitors can unwind in the heated outdoor saline pool or get treated at the on-site spa. There are various dining options. The resort also has three lit tennis courts and a cutting-edge fitness center.

The grounds and interior are expansive and beautiful, both lending to a relaxed atmosphere. You will have full use of the fitness center and complimentary coffee daily — two key amenities to start the day. For extra pampering, you should visit the Langham Hotel Spa.  

At The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, there are numerous dining alternatives. These include an engaging Sunday Market Brunch and The Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse, which serves a variety of seasonal aged USDA Prime Cuts, Australian Wagyu, and Japanese Kobe-Style Beef.

The Terrace offers Sunday a la carte brunches and California bistro-style meals for more relaxed dining.

The Lobby Lounge offers breathtaking views of San Marino and the Horseshoe Gardens while serving the hotel’s distinctive afternoon tea and hot chocolate. The Tap Room serves inventive bar snacks along with handcrafted drinks and specialty beers on tap.

The best way to get to the hotel is by car, and once you arrive you won’t want to leave! Getting downtown is about 10 minutes by car.

I can’t say enough about how great The Langham is and after learning more about its history, I hope to stay at the original hotel in London, England.
